Which sub? Subway. I'll invariably get a $5.00 foot long; honey oat, cold cuts, spinnich, onions, mayo, to go = $5.41.

I'm going to say none-if I eat a sub sandwich (which is rare) I eat Jersey Mikes.

I don't remember if I posted in this thread or not (and since it dates back to 2008 I won't be checking "all my posts" or reading all 15 pages).

But..

I prefer D'Angelo's to Subway, and the only Quizno's around here closed shop a year after they opened so apparently the majority of their targeted demographic agreed with me that it wasn't all that and a bag o'chips.

I've never heard of Jimmy John's except in this thread.

The only reason that Subway beat out Jimmy Johns in my vote was because Jimmy Johns put onion in their tuna which I DETEST.

Don't have a Jimmy John's near where I live (as far as I'm aware).
I like onions but don't always order with onions. Unless JJ's is clearly
labeled as such, that doesn't set well with me. That should be an option.
They can easily cut/dice onions and put them in another container.
Is that a common custom in your area - onions in tuna? I might understand
better if I knew that but would think twice visiting an area.

I said subway and not because I work there but because I don't like quiznos and we don't have Jimmy John's on LI.

I put so much onion in my tuna that every bite crunches.
It is like an onion sandwich with some tuna on it.

I don't mind a little minced onion preferably Vidalia. Otherwise I like to use onion powder in mine.
