Thumbs up Oh, yeah...those are great ideas...+++

Not sure which I will do; have to look at the supplies on hand.
Don't think we are making the 160 mile rd trip for supplies until later..

But, if the roads get better.. like no ice etc. then we will go to Gallup and get restock.

Thanks for the ideas. They all sound good..

Happy trails,

HW and SuninHair..

we were gonna downtown to the celebration the town is having but it would be too expensive for the 5 of us. So I'm making:
fried wings
crackers & garlic & herb cheese
veggie tray
meatballs
peppermint ice cream
cupcakes
sherbet punch

Whatever I end up doing, it may involve black-eyed peas. In Texas, legend has it that you eat black-eyed peas on New Year's Day for good luck.

Then again, I'm not superstitious.

New Year's Eve we will have finger foods like; breaded mushrooms, mozz cheese sticks, egg rolls, fruit pizza, bread sticks, dip (we call slop that has, looking around to see if Nomad is around, velveeta cheese, Armour chili with no beans) & tortilla chips, cheese tray with a pot of soup of some kind on the back burner. Sparkling grape juice at midnight.

New Years day we will have corned beef, boiled cabbage, potatoes and carrots. Same thing up here about having good luck eating cabbage that day.
