Default New Year's Eve Snacks

What did you have?

I just finished serving the bacon cheddar toast. It was a big hit! I'll be using that recipe again.

Happy New Year everybody!

I'm in the pizza-making process right now, LOL. Homemade dough, two types of "white pizza" -- one has a garlic and olive oil base with feta and mozzarella cheese, fresh spinach and black olives; the other has a pesto base with mozzarella, Italian sausage and tomatoes.

Otherwise, I'm serving cheese and crackers, pretzels and other munchies, and spinach dip inside artisan asiago bread.

We walked down the street to sip and sup with neighbors.

I brought Apalachicola oysters
and
Stacked caviar dip

Neighbors made:

Hummus with blackeyed peas
Calamari salad

We drank:
Lots of Nicolas Feuillatte Champagne

Happy New Year everyone!

We had h/m pepperoni calzone in the evening. Snacked on imported cheeses, summer garlic sausage & crackers, jumbo shrimp cocktail, 2 types pickled herring, lentil soup, smoked salmon dip until 2:00 am.

Happy New Year Everyone.

I ended up leaving a lot of food in thr refrig. My son's friends were going to stop by before they went out for the evening and the neighbor bailed because daughter was sick. Turned out to be just hubby and me.

Other than the cheddar toast, we had shrimp, veggies and dip, nuts, etc. We dozed off before midnight! That didn't stop us from opening the Champagne at 12:30. Still tasted great.

Happy New Year everyone!
