Anyone else out there like their steakburgers?? I finally decided to give it a try last night and it was horrible!!!! I threw it out. The bf got a baconater from Wendys and it tasted 100 times better. I don't get what the fuss is about their steakburgers?? Am I missing something??

For some reason, when I get a burger through their drive thru, it's fabulous. When I've gone inside, it has only been mediocre. I don't get it.

They have good fries but thats about it. There burgers are so disgusting even my dogs won't touch them. What a soggy mess. By the time you open the wrapper the grease has saturated the bun so much you have to use a knife and a fork to eat it. Gross.

Maybe because you expect more when you sit down at a table and get waited on?

I don't like Steak and Shake much, the milkshakes are good though.

45 years ago they were great, the best of the drive-ins, at least where I lived. Everything changes, though.

Years ago I loved S&S whenever my travels took me to a city that had one. A couple of years ago S&S finally came to Jacksonville. I've tried their burgers a couple times and was disappointed every time. I don't know if it's just this particular site, or if S&S everywhere has gone downhill. Still love their shakes though.

I like their steak burgers with lettuce, onion, pickles and mustard. Most of the time I've had good luck with them.

Blech. Tiny, greasy, no flavor, over-cooked, over-priced. Won't see me wasting my money on that.
