The plant where it happened, they ran both raw and roasted nuts through the same machinery Salmonella can live on raw nuts but is killed by the roasting process. That is so stupid and sloppy. What a shame that a whole year's crop is ruined. Just like the tomatoes (turned out to be jalapenos), spinach, peanuts, etc, etc. All that good food gone to waste and companies closed and employees loosing their livelihoods.
Oh no...Salmonella....everyone get scared...lol. The media scare tatics are hilarious. Its nothing but a stomach flu. As I said in another post they are trying to scare us so they can get away with passing the monsanto bill aka "food safety bill"
