I join the ketchup on stuff camp. Ketchup on green beans as a kid to make me eat them. And ketchup on Mac and cheese sometimes to cut the richness. My Dad did it to and it really made my Mom annoyed.
I also had french fries with Bearnaise sauce in Belgium. Wow.
My daughter dipped cooked sliced carrots in ketchup. Only way she would eat them. She also has ketchup with chicken and turkey, and puts Parmesan on peas.
Once when my brother was visiting from California I took him out to the Uni Sashimi Bar in Boston and we got the 12 course tasting menu. Best tasting menu I've ever had. One of the dishes had chocolate and tuna and yes It was good

I also remember my mother putting cheddar cheese and apples together which again seemed odd but tasted good. I actually was just eating some right now, which made me wonder about other "weird" food pairings.
Nutella spread on waffles. Nutella with peanut butter, on bread.
