Tonight we're gonna do up a Thai style chicken soup. It's got chiles, basil, lemon and some pasta in it.

Really good stuff.

Nomad, I'm worried about you if chocolate doesn't sound good to you. Hope your appetite returns soon!

Elston, that combination as a ham glaze sounds wonderful - I think even the spouse would like that one. Let us know how it comes out if you try it tonight.

Having cowboy stew tonight, with home-made cornbread for dunking. Got the beef simmering with carrots and parsley and picante sauce, and I need to stand up in just a few and add the onions, zucchini and corn to the pot, and get the cornbread going.

Wishing all a peaceful Sunday evening and a wonderful week!

I went out to dinner early tonight, went for the very famous in Florida
"Early Bird Special." You know, when all of the elderly people like to eat a 5pm sharp? Yup, there I was right in line. I think I probably didn't stand out as much as I would like to think I had. Although, I wasn't wearing a visor or some big floral blouse with ruffles.

I did have a nice dinner, I don't really mind dining alone. Hell, I'm my own best friend!

Terriaki Chicken, baked potato w/ 1/2 lb of butter and the salad bar.

Nom Nom Nom!

BWHAHAHAHAHAHA.... perhaps? I'm 50 yrs old, if it hasn't appeared yet I'm pretty sure I was deprived of it! It's all good though, this way I barely have to lift a finger in the kitchen. In fact when I walk into a kitchen everyone screams either "GET OUT!" or "DUCK!" I'm okay with that.

We grilled chicken breasts that were marinated in Carribbean jerk seasoning and had cheddar rice, roasted asparagus with parmesan, and crescent rolls. Very tasty! We are beat from doing yard work all day.

Night all!
