Inspired by HG's Shrimp Linguine I knew it'd been far too long since I did something with shrimp so............

EVOO, butter, black pepper, red pepper flakes, lots of garlic, diced prosciutto, baby peas, pinot grigio, and shrimp over mezze rigatoni, plate cleaned with nice, crusty bread.

I'm a happy camper right now and there's wine left

Hi all. Didn't go to the hospital today, my son went and I took a break. Well sorta, went food shopping and cooked. Made Pasta Fagioli and baked a ham that I had from Easter. Cleaned up my mess (usually DH cleans up after me) and I'm beat.

Lacey, Only read a few posts above so whatever it is ......feel better soon. Hope everyone else is doing good

Oh, long day, and a rough one. One of my top staff people, the one who combined superior job skills with that incredibly easy-going personality that can get along with ANYONE, got head-hunted away by another employer, and since I can't possibly match what they're offering, I'm losing her. I wish her nothing but the best, of course, and I'm glad she has a great opportunity, but darn it all, she's going to be tough to replace. And I really didn't want to be hiring when we're in the middle of our busy season.

Tamale pie and leftover charo bean soup with our weekly dinner guests was grand, of course, solid and filling and very tasty. Sent the kids home with most of the leftovers, too. Fun evening of laughter and chat, followed by a couple of hours working on the volunteer job I do each year at this time.

Dishes still await and it's getting late, so I'll bid you all goodnight.

Yum Highlands.

I ate a ruben for lunch with coleslaw with friends. Tonight I had a cheese sandwich on multi-grain bread with a cuppa tea.

We bacon bleu cheese burgers on the grill last night, my 79 yr old Dad cooked them, I might add that he did a great job and they were de-lish!
He rocks!

Our neighbors invited the whole family over tonight for dinner, I have no idea what's on the menu, but I'm sure it'll be great!

I'm tired....didn't sleep well at all. My arm was really hurting..I used it quite a bit yesterday.
Tonights dinner will be chicken thighs/legs marinated in soy sauce and baked. Either roasted or mashed potatoes and peas to go along with it.
