I ate 3 HUGE wings, cole slaw, garlic bread and am very content. On Thurs. the wings at Cheers are so big-like buzzard wings, yum.

Nite all.

Hey, Lacey, I'm free for the next month. Can I go to Cheers with you two the next time, please?? I love good wings.

Today, I convinced DH to stop for lunch at the local Mel's Diner. We each had a salad - he had a chef, I had a specialty salad that was to die for - nice, fresh, crisp lettuces, cukes, tomatoes, red onions, with sweet pecans, craisins, a little bleu cheese, topped with hot, grilled chicken. It was so good and they were both huge. No "real" dinner, but we each just had some watermelon to fill the space.

Have a great evening, all.

I followed up my pork and beans BBQ with some pineapple sherbet for dessert. Maybe I should fend for myself more often.

O dear friend - what a lovely blessing! You sleep well, too, and thank you for the grin at the end of a long day.

And another long one it was. Variances are looking astonishingly good - there is really only one category that I need to dig into in any detail, which is downright unheard of - so I left the office before 6 this evening. And I've spent most of the time since then working on convention stuff, wading through 71 emails (and two more have popped in since I started writing this post), responding to those that need replies, nagging people who haven't replied to me, etc, etc. I always forget this part....

Spouse cooked up a lovely spicy beef lo mein with nappa cabbage that was very tasty indeed. And there's just exactly two lunch's worth left for tomorrow. Had a bowl of vanilla ice cream with a dollop of peanut butter between emails, and I'm feeling very content right now.

And Elston's blessing notwithstanding, I had best go take care of those dishes before heading for bed, so good night all!

Happy morning all-I'm still debating this no cooking mood I'm in-one side feels guilty, the other "heck no".

Could be Papa Murphy's take n bake pizza-that's almost cooking as I have to turn the oven on.
