I've had chicken legs marinating in EVOO, garlic, fresh lime juice, salt/pepper for a couple of days.

DH will grill them tonight & brush them with some Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce.

I think maybe I'll finally try some of that grilled pineapple that Noma told me about.

Morning everyone, tonight for dinner is I don't know yet. I need to go digging in the freezer and see what I can find. I think it might be pork chops/steaks. I think I have those out there. Will update later after my second cup of coffee kicks in.

Congratulations to the winners of the gift certs from C-D!! Well deserved--enjoy!!
Let's see.....we had hamburgers last night so I guess tonight is hot dogs and more macaroni salad. It's been high 80's and low 90's so I'm not very hungry when dinner rolls around. A bowl of cold cereal would suit me just fine but DH needs his 3 course meal for dinner!! Thank goodness it is suppose to cool off the next few days but with the cooling off comes the rain....ahhhh, what the heck. That's why it's green here!

Morning all. Congrats to the winners

Not too sure about dinner yet either. Not working has me all off-kilter! Last night we had leftover stuffed shells from the freezer with a salad and garlic bread. It was great, especially because yesterday was cold and rainy.

I really have no clue what we'll do for tonight. We have loads of stuff in the freezer that we should use up.........but maybe we'll go out for a bite instead???

Good Morning Foodie Friends!

Well, I want to give all my friends around Cyn's table their laugh of the day, I did for my dh last night!

dh wanted the reg. potato salad last night & that's what I did, opened up a can of pork & beans, really didn't do anything too special, put the hot dog's on the grill and started the salads. I looked up to see smoke rising to the top of the house, I ran outside and the grill temp. was up to 600 degrees Without opening the lid I quickly shut the grill off & with pitcher of water in hand slowly opened the grill to find char broiled to a crisp food. I said a few %*# words, as dh lost it, laughing with tears coming down his face. "You can make any Gourmet dinner for 20 without breaking a sweat but forget to check the temp. for hd's". He preceded to get some more and he finished dinner, as he said "sweetie accidents happen even to the best". The man scores points with me every day. I smiled & said to him, "what a nice compliment" as he stood in front of the grill whispering to no one in particular, "I'm not stupid!"

Kats, I did post the G. potato salad recipe I make last week, I will send it over to you later this afternoon.

I am glad everyone is having a good day.

Dinner is going to be easy today----no more HOT DOGS!! I took out 2 containers of gravy, sausage & meatballs. We will be having Ravioli, salad and garlic bread.

Will check back later. kelsie
