They are not hot for me. For those who don't do wild and spicy heat they would be hot. Very good sinus med.

We started with a dozen wings and cocktails. Really good. (They also had live music.) Then we both chose the lamb shank in a boulanaise sauce with wild mushrooms and rigatoni pasta ! It was delicous and we brought a lot home. We will definately be going back to The Frog and Turtle. We feel as if we have found "our place".
Elston, that looks like a great place! I'll have to try it when I get back home!

I made yet another horrid meatloaf for one last night. Everyone always asks me, "How can you mess up meatloaf?" I dunno, just lucky I guess!

Mornin' all my foodie friends! Not sure what dinner will be yet--stomache is having some pain today. Hopefully it will improve in a bit and then I will figure out a nice dinner! Maybe something easy on the stomache would be a good idea.

I'm still riding high on that 32oz of steer I put down last night. Tonight will definitely be lighter. I would be happy with a bowl of fruit salad I think at this point with a little cupcake that were not touched last night...

Those are called Jalapeno Poppers here. I think armadillo eggs have chicken in them. I just want jalapeno & cheese and to dip it in ranch. Luckily, my husband thinks these are disgusting as they are not the healthiest.

Nomad, you're a man after my son's heart. He can put away more meat at a single sitting than anyone I have ever met. I am NOT going to tell him about your 32-oz. Porterhouse, though, or he's going to be nagging his father to make him one the next time he comes for a visit!

We're meeting friends for dinner at a typical Wisconsin supper club tonight - this week is just a whirl of social activity for us, most unusual. This time it's a bunch of folks from the spouse's office, all very convivial and fun to talk with. Not sure what I'll have, but it'll likely be good, solid, Midwestern comfort food, and likely a whole lot better bargain than Tuesday night's fiasco.

Have a great Thursday, all, see you this evening!

Good morning! Thank you for all the Happy Birthday wishes, it is much appreciated.❤

DH and I went to a very good Italian restaurant last night. I had the Veal Scallopine (sp) it was so delicious.

I have no clue what's for dinner tonight yet. Have a wonderful day.
