Good Evening all would you believe it is 7PM and we still do not know what we are having for dinner....I am now guessing some sort of take-out. Fried clams and onion rings sound good to me...they're not good for me but they sure sound good.

Bookworm did you go back and get that recipe I left for you on the ? of the day? If not I'll be happy to send it to you.

Hope everyone had a good Saturday.

Good evening! It was a beautiful day here, it hit 79 degrees, unfortunately, it isn't going to stay warm.

I didn't cook, we got Chinese Fried Chicken Wings and fried rice. I'll tell ya, if you have never tried Chinese wings, you better, they are excellent.
I'm thinking about buying a deep fryer to make my own. I believe they are deep fried in peanut oil because that oil makes everything very crispy.
Try them!

Have a wonderful evening everyone.

Wow-2 slices pepperoni pizza (could have done 3) and I'm content-except for those brownie MWBW has.

Nite all-and hope Cyn had a great day! She deserves it.

I don't have any of the kids/grandkids staying with me this weekend, so I bought Publix fried chicken and macaroni & cheese to hold me for the weekend. (I also bought chip and dip....and beer).

We were out rounding up a grub stake and had the 89¢ special at Taco Bell. With free senior drinks we ate on the cheap tonight. The nachos were good as I soaked mine in fire sauce.

Happy Birthday to Cyn!

Had dinner at a friend's house tonight... would you believe she made tacos?

It was beautiful out tonight so DH had grilled london broil. No my DH did not fix the grill. He got the camp stove out and he put the grill top on top of one of the burners. He likes it better because we can adjust the flame to "super" high, lol. As long as he is happy he can do all the grilling.

I had spaghetti squash and baked beans. Ha, ha what a combo but it was good.

Yes, I did, and thank you very much! It has been copied to my recipe folder on the laptop, and emailed to the spouse, who read it and said he thinks he's found our next special occasion dinner. In fact, I think I'll also email it to the college boy, as he likes to buy tenderloins and fix them for friends (mostly female) on occasion.

I had one for ya, Lacey, and I'm still purring with content! I will ask the baker if she'd give me permission to share the recipe, which I have read (with a considerable degree of awe and incredulity) on her blog. I'll warn you, though, it is a multi-day process, and futzy in the extreme.
