Well, hubster decided he really didn't want to grill tonight (it is rather warm out there), so I threw the Mojo marinated chicken in the oven. For sides, we're having black beans w/rice and steamed broccoli/cauliflower. Oh, and fresh cukes.

Catch y'all later.

Funny you should ask .... I was trying to decide that.....I think I will mix some orange marmalade and ginger and dijon and some pineapple juice and spoon it over the ham during the last half hour. Maybe some brown sugar depending on how much marmalade is in the jar. Now you broke the ice by asking such a personal question....how about you? Glaze or refrain from glazing?

just my 2 cents worth, I glaze! There is just something so yummy with the salty and the sweet!

Oh, (blush), I glaze, but only on special occasions (wink, wink, nudge, nudge). Actually, I do a couple basic ones. Sometimes I put some white wine or apple juice in the pan with the ham. I take a little bit of the liquid and combine it with brown sugar and put that on top. Or I mix mustard (dijon or yellow) with brown sugar and spread that over the ham. Depends on my mood.

Enjoy before you know it they will be walking across the high school stage grabbing their diploma. Then it is never the same after that. Still joys but once they leave high school and your house it is such a different path.

Nice Idahoes in the oven, meat marinating, salad and corn ready-me too-but time for Happy Hour first!

My son-in-law says I'm the perfect MIL but than again I am 1500 miles away. Only kidding (I think).

cyn & Lacey I haven't experienced the wives yet but reading your posts I know a little bit of what to expect. I know we are to raise our kids and let them go but I don't see me ever letting them go completely. I am doing much better the oldest is teaching me a lot now days.

Hey, it's only a lucky few who find problems...I got along great with my MIL. But I love people and I love family.
I thought I had a wonderful and very open relationship with my son...he is a good boy and is very protective--just not of me anymore! You will be just fine Jaxson..really!!
If anyone had a right to get upset with their MIL it would have to be Amber and she is a sweetheart with her MIL---but she does not play any games with her either!
Our veggie is green beans!!
