Ah, we're finally home. We were pleasantly surprised that it is 68 degrees here in Ohio today. Shoved a frozen casserole into the oven of Turkey/Ricotta stuffed shells, so we'll have that with some green beans. The daffodils are up, DH and I are plopped in our easy chairs catching up on the DVR, and the cats seem to have forgiven us for leaving them. Life is good, back to the real world tomorrow.

I have decided to...drum roll please....make a salad! Someone on this thread, who shall remain nameless ( Debsi) shamed me into making my very first homemade dressing! Thanks to the person who shall remain nameless ( Debsi), it taste awesome ! I have some lovely field greens, radicchio and romaine lettuces.
I will also make some mussels in a shallot, tomato and white wine sauce. I also have a fresh and crusty baguette
So this salad is for the nameless one that shamed me into making my first salad dressing . Here is the link. Orange Ginger Dressing Recipe
I didn't have any orange juice concentrate so I made it without it and it was still yummy!

LOL, George! Way to go!!
That dressing sounds really good. I am very proud of you and I must say you are quite a good student, if students may grade their own work.

Tonight, I had some Smithfield chicken and dumplings. You just fix them in the microwave for six minutes at half power. Delicious, but I need another helping.

You have more forgiving cats than I have!
Here are my two furry felines. The cat on the top is Mooner. He is about 7. The cat on the bottom is Mickey and he is my youngester at 19!
