Huck, I picture you sauntering up to the wok each night, lifting the lid, and a beautifully prepared meal magically appears before you

Good morning all.

Happy Memorial Day weekend and blessings to those that have and those that are serving our wonderful country.

Kelsie-how I wish I could get that pasta here. I'm lucky enough to get Barilla but choices are limited.

Tonite-I'm so hyped-cheesburgers on the grill, baked beans and mac salad. I love my cheeseburgers!

Good morning all. I am here because yesterday turned into a fiasco. We had contractors here until almost 8:00pm and no concrete got poured but that's a story for Monday.

Kelsie- Woo hoo. Keep selling those books.

Lacey- Double yum for cheeseburgers.

Tonight I need easy. DH will have hot dogs and beans and I am having a big salad. Lots of fresh veggies that need to be used.

He graduated today and immediately called my Dad (80 years old). My Dad was so proud he choked up and couldn't talk...my Mom had to take the phone.

I also have a neice in Iraq...another nephew who has done three tours in Iraq and a day care parent who will be doing his second tour soon....They all make me so proud.

Ooooops dinner? take out Chinese tonight to keep it on topic.
Your family will be in my thoughts this weekend, as we salute our military folks. Congratulations.

I sure I can find something edible.
Nomad, extra karma coming your way. I hope all is well.

Not sure. They were ok and I'd eat them again, but I didn't ask for the recipe!

Noma, I am so sorry about Mom & glad that you now are going to have some help. You need to take care of yourself too please. Sending warm thoughts to your d Mrs. Noma.

Jax, you had said that you would like to see the after pics of the remodel, I don't know how to do that.

skbs, I know you are having a wonderful time tonight and that's the way it is sup. to be. Enjoy your family, you are a great mom.

cyn, not overdoing I hope.

George, you make me crazy, I am ready to sell my home here (don't tell hubby please, as he is putting the slate down in front of the FP as I type ) just to have you as my RA a little further So.

OK, now I have a question! Have aliens landed this week, or has all the water around the US been tainted? dh & I are leaving our supermarket today when one of the checkers yells to me, (as he is checking out a customer) "hey kelsie, I want one of those coveted cookbooks you wrote that you gave to Kevin." I was totally blown away and speechless, my h looked at me and asked "what did he just say"? I looked at the checker, smiled, nodded my head and replied, "I'll see what I can do". He is all of 20 yrs. old, and hmmmm cooks Italian food, what is up with this, and I was the one embarrassed.

Well dinner was simple Percatelli Spaghetti #15, larger & hollow down the middle, hm pork and beef meatballs. I have to have my strength this weekend---again I am the Supervisor and I take this seriously.

Have a wonderful night foodie friends, I will see you in the morning. G'nite kelsie

lacey, I forgot to say hello to my friend today, hello my friend today, hugs, kelsie!
Kelsie, I don't think you should have been embarrassed! What great testimony to your cookbook...and advertising, too!

Oh, no. Hang in there, gal.

I don't know what dinner's going to be. I'm tempted to go out, but I don't stick to the healthy stuff when I eat out. I know it's early, but I don't think I'll feel like cooking tonight. Hmmm.... what to do, what to do.
