Uh....NO!!! You have had a rough week, give yourself a break (literally).

I would have opened the fridge and announced "dinner is served" and walked away and went back to bed.

Feel better and get some rest. You are no good to your family when you are run down.

Tonight is "my" night to cook (meatless night). So, I'm thinking baked ziti with a "store-bought" marinara sauce, cheddar, romano, and parmigiana reggiano. DH doesn't like "Italian" cooking, but tonight he'll just have to deal with it! LOL!

Hi all. Last night we went for seafood vs. sushi. We split a dozen oysters and I had mussels and frites and BF got fish and chips. I had one too many glasses of wine and went straight to bed when we got home. Oops.

Thanks for all the well wishes. I am feeling a bit better today.

Tonight we are doing beer can chicken on the grill and we'll probably have some veggies and rice or pasta with it.

Tomorrow I have a wine and cheese party to go to -- cheese and breads and fruits for dinner most likely.

And Sunday I am requesting beer brats cooked in beer, sauerkraut, and brown sugar. I think I will make some mustard potato salad to go with them.

Met with friends at the Outback last night. After the Blossom Onion rings and sharing them I was full and settled for the fettucini vs. burger or steak. Too heavy. Fettucini was heavy enough.

Tonight will be swiss steaks with oven roasted potatoes and corn on the cob.
Feeling better today but still have no taste buds working!! I'm pretty tired of everything tasting like cardboard! Ha! I picked up these beautiful strawberries and a cantaloupe and DH says they are so sweet but I can't taste it at all.....sigh.....
My energy is back though and I've already got a bunch done in the house and now to move outside and get some more weeding done and trimming!! Oh yes, one more Rosemary plant that needs to get planted too!!

Okay.. give me some ideas on what to make for dinner tonight! Nothing too hard, but something more than just grilled cheese. I am going to the store in a little bit and need ideas.. (lol, I almost spelled "need" like this: "nead"...weird).

Well Good Afternoon fellow foodies.

I am reading all your posts and they are great ideas. I am having what Kat is having No clue....recipe to follow.
Cyn hope you get those "buds" back.

George when I go to my Dad's I will have to get a pic of his version of the Topsy Turvy.

I did get some baking done today just to warm up the house but I made some zucchini bread and in a few minutes have to bake the snickerdoodles. The dough had to be refrigerated for a bit. The kiddies are sleeping so I am going to get busy.

Have a great afternoon.
