Hello!

Quick and easy today. Made bratwurst, sauerkraut and potatoes for the men of the house (my dad and DH).

Tomorrow will be spaghetti, tomatoe sauce, chicken breast fried in some oil with tons of herbs and then they'll go into the oven, topped with tomatoe slices and mozzarella cheese.

Enjoy your Friday!
Diana

Tonight I'm trying the Tomato Pie that's been in a lot of the magazines, and some italian sausages.

Kats I've made something similar and added chicken on top.

Good afternoon!

I'm making Panini's...... Portobella mushrooms, thin chicken cutlet, roasted red peppers, mozzarella, w/EVOO and seasonings.
I made some bran muffins this morning, since, DH likes something sweet after dinner. I'm such a good wife. LOL

Have a great Friday night!

That's not a bad idea Lacey! It sure sounds like a good rice recipe doesn't it? LOL How can it not be with all that cheese and onion!

Chatterbox ended up not feeling well enough to go to prek.... but didn't let me know until we GOT THERE and were walking into the classroom.... waiting for Diva to get off the bus now.... TGIF I tell ya.... parents are taking the kids tomorrow and Hubby and I have date night- a play and dinner.... hope I am up for it.... they are spending the night! I am just psyched I will be able to sleep the WHOLE NIGHT w/o interruption or a child in my bed!!! ahhhhhhhhhh LOL.... bliss....

tonight hubby says he wants to take the kids to see the new Disney movie that is out... I am thinking about letting have a Father Daughter night and spoil them and leave me at home (spoiling ME at the same time lol).... he can take them out to eat before and then nobody has to worry about dinner.... so easy.... and I can rest.... everyone is happy too!!! especially ME

Sounds like a win-win idea to me skbs! If your DH would enjoy doing that, you sure could use a break and then by tomorrow night you'd be ready to enjoy your date night with DH a little more. I do remember my kids at that age and I still do not have any idea how I did it. I went days/weeks without a good night sleep. How do the kids do it?? I know I couldn't do it now! Ha! That's why we have kids when we are young!

Afternoon all, just got done cleaning the house top to bottom. Hopefully I have successfully killed all the cold germs left in the house.

No idea what is for dinner. I am dog tired so it will be something easy. I have leftover chili, but hubby ate that for lunch and I doubt he will want it again for dinner. Maybe boxed mac and cheese with a veggie.

Hope everyone feels better soon and has a great weekend.

Cyn...about not tasting anything I was taking mucinex too and I couldn't taste anything either. Maybe it is something to do with that medicine???
