Decided to make a pie. The can of cherry pie filling says to use two cans, but there's just one. I know it's not written in stone (more like ink on paper) but got to thinking about how else to fill the deep dish pie shells.

So I threw in a large bunch of white grapes, a couple of dashes of cinnamon, and some pecan halves. Has anyone else ever used fresh grapes in a pie?

I wonder if I've ruined it. It is in the oven now and it does SMELL good.

We'll see.....

If it smells good then that's a good sign. Maybe you'll start a new trend. Tell us how it was.

I've seen a recipe for Grape pie. Will never make it, tho. That one calls for you to peel the grapes. :0 No thank you.
