Y'all, I think I've died and gone to heaven. That's how good this fruit is

Walked into Whole Foods and saw the "limited time/season" sign over some weird looking citrus fruit, which automatically made me want to buy it Seriously some of the best fruit I've ever tried.

I agree. Sadly, the stores around here don't seem to stock it, but when I lived in Minneapolis, I went crazy for this fruit every year. They are so darned sweet, juicy and just plain huge. They were such a treat!

YES!!! I just tried these for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I’ve already been back for more. They are wonderful!
I found them at Kroger.

They are tasty but at $2.99 lb and each one a lb or so. You do the math.

Sumosumosumosumo! I LOVE them. And don't care what they cost, which is unusual for me.

I've had a few. While I like them, I'm just not head over heels about them.

I was talking to a friend after reading an article about these sumo oranges, and she said she had gotten some at a farmer's market, and would bring me one. What she brought me was a honeybell. It did have the little topknot, but it wasn't anything close to the size I've read about. Does anybody know how similar they are to each other?

They are 3 for $5 at Kroger this week, but were 5 for $5 a couple of weeks ago.
