Default News, Japan's special melons 'only' $5,200 a pair.

TOKYO - The latest victim of Japan's recession is round, sweet and famous for being shockingly expensive.

The first two Yubari melons of the season were auctioned Friday in northern Japan and fetched $5,200. Pricey? Certainly.

$5,200 for two melons? That's cheap in Japan - Weird news- msnbc.com

John may be sweet but his topics are going to seed any way you slice it. At least that's what my juicy friend Melanie from Crenshaw claims. She wants to get hitched but I really cantaloupe cause I don't want to become a honey-do hubby. Shucks, I was so mad I could spit. Well, when it rinds it pours. Who knows, maybe we can patch things up?
