Another good combo is Pineapple and Pink Peppercorns....(then throw on the grill!!)
Its amazing how a little salt can change the dynamics of flavor across your taste buds.
As a professional chef, I must insist that you throw away the old "table salt" with that horrid iodine aftertaste! Go to Kosher Salt or Sea Salt to really enjoy salt as it was intended.

A sprinkle of salt on cantaloupe is delicious, and it also adds a nice twist when sprinkled on a grapefruite half.
Pineapple (fresh) is yummy with a dusting of cayenne and/or chili powder, too.

Yes, I've heard of that from street vendors in Mexico, I think...

Sea - there is a little edit button over to the bottom right of your own posts. You can use that instead of making a new post if you want. Either works
I forgot about black pepper and cayenne/chili - ya both can be a really nice addition!

I grew up with my grand parents. They always put salt on watermelon, cantaloupe, and honeydew. I find that if I have bought a melon and it is not sweet enough I will reach for the salt. Funny, that is the one & only time I ever use salt.

I only put salt on tomatoes I buy from the store. If I get them from a farmers market they usually have so much more flavor salt isn't needed.
