Special "slushy", anyone?
On a mission to clean out the freezer, I came upon an odd container with a mystery substance in it. I know the container was not old, 6 months tops, but I was clueless as to the contents since the label I applied was illegible. I allowed the container to start thawing in the fridge; after 24 hours or so it was a slushy mass, but still not recognizable to me. Naturally I sampled it. It turned out to be some concentrated chicken stock I had made back in January. It was highly seasoned with herbs. What was so unusual about it was that it was quite enjoyable to consume in this semi-frozen state. I ended up eating quite a bit because it was so pleasant. Normally we think of sweet frozen treats rather than savory ones.
Have any of you ever had mysterious frozen treats of this or similar nature?

Sorry, I haven't. I'm not big on savory cold things.

No, but I did buy some hot and spicy cucumber popsicles the other week. They were "different", not too bad really.
