So tonight will be boiled Maine lobsters probably with boiled potatoes or a rice option and wax beans that I picked up yesterday from a local farm. Life is sometimes a series of adjustments......and thats not a bad thing.
I guess I DID choose a good night to drop in!

Hi foodies!

Well, seems like a lot of plans changing going on around here! I like that because then that is two meals per post I get to read about!!

Speaking of that, my plans changed yesterday and the Hot Links are pushed to today! I think I will make some macaroni salad to go with it. And, I haven't had hummus in a while and toosie has my mouth watering for some. I love the Sabra red pepper one or the hot one! Yummy. I have to go to the grocery store anyways. Thinking haluska sound good too for next week. Someone mentioned cabbage and it got me thinking...

We ended up going to the local pub and I had Buffalo Chicken Tenders and fries. I swear, I don't know what Vegas has going here but their fries are sooo good, everywhere! Much better than Detroit's! Don't know why, it is just so. DH had carne asada tacos and they were very tasty. Donated a little to video poker , then home to bed. It was a very nice night!

Weather is not bad today, only supposed to see 98ºF and maybe a t'storm or two. I can appreciate that here because it doesn't happen often and doesn't stick around long-as opposed to MI where it can be endless gray, wet days.

Have a yummy Friday!!!

Sorry to be so late--have been busy today--between trying to work I've also had some personal matters to take care of plus my sister that has Myasthenia Gravis was admitted back into the hospital yesterday with pneumonia and that is not at all good. She has nothing to fight it in her body. MG is an anti immune disease. I have been on the phone with her several times today but she is to tired to talk much---sigh...it's so hard having part of my family in CA with it so far away.
So tonight DH is going to make his fish speciality--yum! I will make some rice and beans to go along with it. Have a wonderful week-end and I will try to check in earlier tomorrow.

Wow, cyn, that is alot to deal with! I am sure you know you don't have to apologize about when you get here! We all know how life has a habit of kicking in and kicking us off the computer!

Enjoy your fish dinner!

I will add your sister and your family to my prayers.

Oh Cyn, that's rough with your sister - sorry to hear she's back in the hospital. Hugs to you!

Kimba, we must be on the same wavelength these days - the sausage was great last night, I'm making buffalo chicken tenders at home tonight, and was thinking about halushki for next week!

Well, since we can't make it to Maine for Elston's lobster fest, we've invited Papa John for dinner. Maybe a beer or two with that.
