Sounds perfect Nomadicus!!
Lacey, the Dr.s will get it figured out. It may just take a bit of time but they will!!
We aren't having the hot dogs as I had thought....DH didn't feel like it so we are having stuffed manicotti tonight. I will have some garlic toast and a salad with it.
Kelsie--I am so looking forward to getting together!!

Tonight I pan-seared some yellowfin tuna, ate it like a hamburger - on a bun w/ lettuce, duke's mayo, some fancy-pants NY sharp cheddar, a tomato slice, and a pacifico.

Best idea I've had in a while.

I wish we could send alcohol through postings. Sigh

Furry white doggie is funny Oops, I mean, bad doggie. I didn't mean to encourage such outrageous behavior. Bad furry white doggie, bad doggie (especially if you're not going to share)

We are having the leftover hamburger steaks and gravy, but I made a potato's obrien casserole that I had a new recipe for. With all the fattening stuff in it, it can't help but be good! LOL

Aaaahhh, Lacey.... I worried on Saturday when you said they were turning him loose that it was too soon. Oh, honey, I am so sorry to hear that he's back yet again, though I hope-hope-hope that this time they can get things figured out. It's an insidious thing, Crohn's is, and a real challenge for patient, doctors and caregivers. Sending you hugs to go with that vodka, dear - you need the hugs more than anything right now, I suspect.

Is there any chance at all that one of the kids could come out to spend some time with you? Failing that, I'm tempted to pack up spouse and tuxedo cat and come do some Lacey-nurturing myself. Though I'd probably have to stand in line, wouldn't I, since I'm sure that most of folks at this table would be there along with me.

You know we're here for you, Lacey. DM me if you want to talk, and I'm sending hugs in any case. Peace be with you and Mr. L.

Tonight was McDonald's, where I decided to try one of their new Angus third-pound burgers. [WRITER'S NOTE: I couldn't cook tonight because of a leaky ceiling caused by upstairs neighbors moving out and they forgot to shut the water off from their washer.]. I chose the bacon cheeseburger. That one was a good one.
