Welcome home HG.

You poor guys in the NE with the rain, etc. They said today on the news it was coldest/wettest 2nd June in history.

In one of my hanging ferns on the front porch is a bird's nest-we scare the bejeezus out of each other when I water. At least she hasn't attacked me yet.

Hubby is busy making a peach cobbler for supper's dessert. He's going crazy with the cobblers. I think he's tired of cookies. Come fall, he'll probably start with the cookies again.

We are having "sto'-boughten" sushi for supper. It just looked good when I was at Publix today. Today (Wednesday) is Senior Discount day at Kroger and Publix, so I try to do my grocerying on Wednesdays to get that little 5% off. Every bit makes a difference these days! There are a few (very few!) perks to being over 60...

I am on between thunderstorms......but it is up to 60 degrees.

Lacey I had to stop putting up my hanging plants because every single year the birds would take them over and build their nests. Very expensive bird nests.

LOL skbs

Oh and I still have no idea what is for dinner.

I'm thinking pork chops, mac and cheese, green beans and rolls.

Yep--the grilled chicken breasts are still on for us. Guess I'll make up some mashed potatoes and fresh corn on the cob too!! Guess I'd better slice up that fresh tomatoe so it doesn't spoil. So there it is--dinner!!

Well....my plans are probably changing to shrimp since the pork tenderloin won't be thawed by dinner and we don't have any chicken breasts!! I think we will either do steamed shrimp seasoned with Old Bay and have with a salad or we will make shrimp kababs and some more grilled veggies. Off to the store in a bit.
