Dinner was at The Spanish Tavern was delicious as usual. I even got to bring some home for dinner tomorrow. DH had a veal chop, my goodness, it was huge.

Cyn, so sorry to hear about your cat. I hope he is doing OK.

Lisa, I'm glad your DH is safe! That had to be sooo scary watching that happen.

I know and I so don't feel like cooking - blah! We will have spaghetti and Indian (here at home) before he takes off. Both are 2-nighters. That leaves a night or two for ice cream or salty tears yeah, I know - pushed the pathetic angle too far, huh?

Evening all, man I took my kids swimming this afternoon and look what I missed.

Cyn I am so sorry about your cat and I hope it gets on the mend soon.

Hey George swing on by my way, my neighbors have a small arsenal we can borrow along with some firecrackers for the fourth. We'll hook ya right up.

Hope everyone has a good night, (I for some reason have the insomnia) so ya'll get some sleep for me.

You are not the only insomniac...I am trying to work out a plan for dinner tonight and not getting very far. Living alone is getting old quick now. I have some bacon to work with...Most likely I'm opting for another super chef salad again....

That salad sounds good. We ended up having frozen pizza tonight. Sloppy joes are on the menu for tomorrow. I couldn't get the meat thawed in time to eat at a decent time.

I have cooked ground beef from the frozen state in a sauce pan. I just keep turning and scraping off as it browns. Also the nuker thaw cycle works fine too. Have not had sloppy joes in a long time. Maybe just what I need to break the boredum tonight. I can make 'em my way with cayenne and jalapeno being home alone. I make use it as a filling with soft taco wraps. That would work....
