Party went well on Saturday, no drunk adults, just happy tummies

I have no idea what I am having for dinner tonight, I was hoping I could get some ideaa, Although I leaning towards wok-ing up some Asian Orange Sesame Chicken Stir Fry with Veggies and Rice, in a lettuce wrap. something simple yet awefully yummy!!!

Tuna fish, lettuce, tomatoe and a bit of avocado in wheat "bolillos" seasoned with lemon, salt, a bit of olive oils and oregano. (No avocado for DH...) I wasn't able to finish one!

EDIT: add honeydew juice for beverage.

(This to stop craving for french fries. 2 weeks eating healthy already!)

Checking in after another long day, and I just had to log in to add to the joyful chorus of "Glory Hallelujah" over Nomad's wonderful news! Oh, what a glorious way to end a day, dear friend; I can only imagine what today must have been like for you. I thought I heard a news story about Nasa having to divert the shuttle around something aloft over Florida, and now I realize that it must have you as you danced for joy up there among the clouds! You probably won't sleep much tonight, I suppose, but oh, what a wonderful reason for wakefulness.

Spouse prepared a mighty vat of red beans & rice for supper, cooked with a ham hock and some nice spicy andouille sausage, which we shared with our weekly dinner guests. Finn the tuxedo-clad cat was feeling especially importunate and kept leaping up to my shoulders to purr hungrily at me as we ate, even though he had his supper before any of the two-legged critters did. The kids found it highly amusing, which I suppose is not too surprising.

Off to do the dishes and head for bed; tomorrow is my final day of prepping workpapers before the auditors arrive, and I know it'll be a long one. Good night and joyful dreams to all!

MWBW - you always are able to put into words exactly how I am feeling! That is such a special gift and I appreciate it!

I've got boneless, skinless chicken thighs marinating right now. Just a simple marinade of garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, white wine & hot sauce. Hubby will barbeque them later on. Weather's calmed down here so we can finally barbeque. It's been so ferociously windy and wet lately. Good to take advantage of the calm before the next storm.

I'll roast some potatoes, zucchini and onions to go with the chicken. Simple and quick. And there's still leftover birthday cake from Monday night for dessert.

Fantastic news, Nomadicus. I'm so happy for you!

Good Morning! Hope you are all doing well this fine Wednesday! Today is looking gray and gloomy here and I am feeling very badly for my bff as she is planning a water party for her little three year olds birthday today.... looks like it will be inside instead. THAT is what we are doing this afternoon... cake and pizza for lunch. I have a Dr's appointment before I go to check up on my migraine progress wich I think is going really well since I have been on the new meds.... fingers crossed there are no changes to the dose though (as it changes my appetite and it is finally coming back).... Then we are off to Karate... Busy Busy Busy.... what else is new?????? lol... so dinner... hmmmmm.... well it will figure itself out some how. Might be pb&j in the car on the way to the dojo to be honest.... depends how far behind we run. Ok off to the shower I go! Have a great day...
