Yum, that's my regular. Oil, vin, s&p and oregano and I'm happy. Normally I'm good and split with DH..but not always.

I have some bits from the chain of a grass fed tenderloin that I'm thawing out, plus a half bottle of not quite good enough to drink red wine, and some cremini mushrooms...beef stroganoff tonight! All served over white rice.

I might just add a vegetable too..

We grilled some chicken breasts and threw them atop a salad of romaine, tomato, cucumber, red onion, and toasted sesame seeds.

zHi, guys. Haven't been able to get into CD all day long.

Dinner was supposed to be at the community restaurant where they're promoting an off-season special. Two dinners for $10, with a 2 drink min. (alcohol or not). We drove over, only to turn around because it was packed. So it was clean out the fridge night. Leftover pizza, steak and fresh cukes.

Have a great night.

We just got home from an afternoon at the beach...where I met a friend I hadnt seen it over 8 years . Life is a circle and we keep going round.

For supper I quick made some meat balls from some thawed ground pork and a little hamburg and red peppers and onions.....fried up and then added pork gravy (from a jar) and threw in some fresh wax beans and potatoes and carrots I had par-boiled...they are all smmering together at this moment.....A non-recipe that just evolved out of the need to put supper on the table with no forethought.....of course there is rice for DP to hold it all together.
