It's a new (to me) one I'm trying, we'll see in about 16 hours if it's worth sharing. It's one of those dishes with about a bazillion different recipes available, other than green bell pepper/celery/onion/garlic the one thing they all seem to share is a peanut-butter colored (or darker) roux.

That is why I was wondering if we could be blessed with your recipe if it turns out good.

Man I need to sleep but my eyes are not behaving accordingly and I had no nap today to blame it on.

Last night we had an old friend from out of town come for dinner. We had manfood..Caesar salad, steaks, asparagus, baked potatoes, and brownies with ice cream and fudge sauce. Also several cocktails and I only set the fire alarm off once.
Having about 10 people tomorrow, so today I'm slowcooking a pork shoulder for pulled pork tomorrow, and we'll have the usual suspects..potato salad, coleslaw and fruit and veggies. I'll be cooking my tooshie off today, so tomorrow will be easier.

Trouble in paradise here...sigh.....Not going to my grandaughters BD afterall. It was a long night and will be a long day I am afraid. Guess it just hasn't been a long enough healing time.
Looks like everyone had a good evening here--I am happy to see that. No ideas for dinner right now. Have a wonderful Saturday.
