Doc was thrilled with results as Chron's is apparently in remission and he was amazed at what he saw. Good sign there.

Home now and he's snoring after some scrambled eggs and toast. May not do the clam sauce-could just be pasta w/butter and parm for him as it'll set better.

NMS Best of luck and safe trip tomorrow and Happy Anniversary!
Fantastic News. All my very best .

If you have beef you could try pastichio, it really is yummy.

Lacey- That is wonderful news about your hubby.

nms- Take me. Pretty please!! I would love to go to an AYCE Chinese. My hubby doesn't like Chinese food and I love it.

Hi all. It is a scorcher out today. It seems like we can work in the morning and at night. We need to get inside from about 2pm until about 4:40-5pm.
I hate the heat. When I first moved in with my DH he had no central A/C in his house. I told him if you don't change that very soon you will not have a bed partner. Needless to say we had A/C by the summer, lol.

It is too hot too cook. I think I will make a big salad and some fresh fruit for dessert.

Today I did not make my own pastry shell. I have an apple tart recipe that you make the tart shell in a food processor. It's practically fool proof.

Dinner was a big ham slice fried in the iron skillet, gravy from the drippings, mayonnaise rolls, White acre peas we put up, green beans, leftover cornbread pones. Oh I forgot - we also had fresh sweet corn on the cob! It is in season here now!
