I saw Ski cola mentioned earlier, I am not sure about KY, but it can be found in Evansville IN, as well as possibly another local cola here,

Just google'ing around I do not see any pictures of what the bottles on the shelf really look like.

Sasparilla! It's so hard to find. I know the Kutztown Bottling works makes it, but it's so hard to find here in Ohio.

Try the Flying J truck Stops as they generally have a ton of different sodas.

Kutztown sodas are quite good and made with cane sugar. The root beer and birch beer are exceptional and good value for the money.

All three are found in the stores in Maryland, East Coast... Love Pibb Xtra and Schweppes!

Unsure on what Maryland has special drink wise though. I've never heard of the other drinks posted.

Northern Neck Ginger Ale is one of the strongest ginger ales out there and is produced in Montross, VA.

Tom Tucker Mint Ginger Ale is a good one

Miss cream soda - rarely see it anymore - sometimes a Dr Brown's but I prefer the glass bottles

Good to see others enjoy Cactus Cooler. When I went to SoCal last year I tried one (it looked intriguing) and I was hooked. I probably drank 10-15 in a week. I was sad to see it was only available in California.

I did find a decent replacement which is more widely available: Chek Orange-Pineapple Soda. I think it is available at all Winn-Dixie stores. Not quite Cactus Cooler but pretty good.

As soon as I saw this thread I knew Ski would be in here, but I have to plug it also. It's like Mt. Dew, but better.

I don't think either one is around anymore; but I loved Hire's Rootbeer when I was younger. I think there was also a grandma's Rootbeer. It was in Pennsylvania.
