What favorite "legal" foods do you prepare? What do you enjoy for snacks or when you don't feel like cooking? What do you order when you go out?

My husband has Type 1 diabetes, this is a huge issue in our house. He's lived with this since he was a year old, and has his own stubborn views. I will cook a good balanced meal, and then when he feels his sugar drop, there he is, eating something for that quick sugar fix, instead of fruit. I get so frustrated.

I have endocrinology issues......and I really cant eat so much sugar but I love sweets! Its all about moderation though!!
