I saw this video, asked the poster about the recipe and no answer... it has been like two months and I´m still drooling thinking of it.

Bacon on an XL2 on Vimeo

Any one here who knows at least the dish name?

Cheers

That disgusted me enough to intrigue me. I googled bacon lattice and came up with "bacon explosion" which seems to fit this vid with one alteration in the long tube o' ground meat.

Although eating this would cause immediate hypertension, I would definitely try it if I had some in front of me. That would be some good fuel if you were climbing Mt. Everest or going on a 30 mile jog.

Looks good. The only thing I might change where preparation is concerned is to place a large sheet of wax paper both underneath and on top of the woven bacon . It would make rolling the main loaf easier and forming the woven bacon around the roll easier and less messy too.
