okay down here you get what is referred to as a ketchup pie with cheese and cardboard . Here lately I have been to some pretty raunchy pizza places . I dont do pizza hut or pappa johns or any of the chains they stink here . I usually try to do a mom and pop pizza place if I can find one .

Pizza Hut seemed ok back in the 1980's when growing up and maybe this isn't the case and I have it wrong, but it seems like they use a preformed frozen crust now.

Admittedly I do have it occasionally on Sundays when everything else is closed and they also have Wing Street which I like. Still it's not great.

Re: The Edge

Did not the following factors evident from the commercial tip you off that it would be a disgusting failure?

1. It looks like crap, even in the commercial. Usually stuff looks better than it really is.

2. It is a new, novelty pizza from a chain.

3. The commercial is clearly marketing this product to 8-year olds who are not known for their discerning palettes.

If I'm feeling lazy and don't want to go pick up a pizza from a local joint, I'll do Pizza Hut or Papa John's. I just avoid the novelty stuff at Pizza Hut, which is never good, and just stick to what they do best: a pan pizza with one or two toppings.
