I didn't do a very good job of grazing my way through the day to day. Got stuck at the feed bunk to long....It was a flat price meal that made me round.

Well, plans changed and we had Chianti Braised Beef and Rigatoni, wine and later, those strawberries again. Thanks Lacey for the berry berry info.

Did y'all think that I cooked that? Ha...Bertolli was the chef this time. I didn't mean to 'cheat' but no choice tonight. It was good tho'.

Ok, so I just ate the cabbage rolls and they were really good, so here's the recipe...
Makes about 24

1 huge cabbage ($1.49 this week)
Cut out core and place in a big simmering pot of water. Remove each leaf as they become plyable. Cool. Remove tough rib from each leaf.
Combine:
2# ground beef
1 T celery salt
pepper
2 eggs
1 cup cooked rice
1/2 c. ketchup

Sauce: Mix well
1 large can tomato sauce (28oz)
1 bottle chili sauce
1 jar grape jelly, melted

1 large onion, chopped

Place chopped onion in the bottom of a large roasting pan (bigger than a 13x9).
Roll up meat mixture in cabbage leaves and line up on top of onions.
Pour sauce over and cover with foil.
Bake for 2 hours at 325. Uncover, baste occasionally for another hour.

We serve it with mashed potatoes.
