Denise do you have any stewed tomatoes...go ahead and brown the chops on both sides, in the fry pan pour in a can of stewed tomatoes, cover and let simmer for about 35 - 40 min.. when ready to serve thicken the sauce a little, make a roux with cornstarch or flour..serve with rice..its delicious and moist..

Thank you Lacey for inviting me over to this thread.

I do need to sit down for a second. It's perfect to be at your table and talk to you guys. Just like home!

Already prepared tomorrow's lunch. I threw some zucchini strips (cut very thin) into hot sesame oil, added a slice of bacon in small strips, poured milk and some cream all over it and let it simmer. Oops, nearly forgot: lots of basil and oregano. Ground some Gouda cheese over it. Already looking forward to tomorrow's lunch lol

I fixed a smoked turkey sandwich for lunch. To bad it had to be store bought stuff. Gobbler season will be here soon....I'd like some wild smoked turkey and one deep fried. I laced the sandwich with hot banana pepper rinds to that made it acceptable.

At our small local grocery, they have deep fried turkey breast in the deli. It's really good.

Hey MM good to see you...that sounds delicious!
Nomad I love deep fried turkey we had some a few years back with some friends from Louisiana.....We had two twenty pound turkeys and they were both gone in twenty minutes....It was injected with a cajun seasoning and all I can say is OMG that was good.
They also made us some authentic jambalaya. Talk about heaven.

You just gave me an idea..I have some left over sauteed peppers, mushroom and onions. I will use it up and throw in the stewed tomatoes for some liquid.
