(sneaking in)--Crazy, you have the stuffed cabbage recipe, page 18, my cookbook, "An Adventure In Italian Cuisine", the mixture for the peppers is the same stuffing for the cabbage.

You ladies did a beautiful job in here. Congratulations!!

Well thank you and don't forget to post what you're making.

I'm so waiting for that smell of roasting chicken! May even sneak a piece of skin!

Lacey, CW, thank you for opening the door. I am going to make one of Mr. "k's" and Mr. "l's" favorites tonight. Shrimp scampi.

I have 1 1/2 lbs of Carolina fresh shrimp, which I will shell and devein (saving the shells to the freezer) for a delicious shrimp sauce with Cognac & heavy cream to be used in a couple of weeks.

Today's sauce will be lots of minced sweet onion, fish stock, fresh minced garlic, white wine, butter and chicken broth, fresh basil & Italian parsley. I am serving this over thin spaghetti. Crusty bread and Italian salad, and call it dinner.

Hellllllooooooooooo. Found y'all over here. Great thread with soooooo many darn good topics. At the rate I'm going today, I may have to settle for hotdogs, baked beans, and salad this evening. I still have some Kosher wieners in the freezer. I fixed way too many strawberries and raspberries so guess we'd better eat them tonight also.

Cookbooks?? I love cookbooks. What are all of these cookbooks by some of you that are being referred to? Do some of you actually have your own published books???

Is that in your cookbook?????? Volume one or two?

Folks, for those of you who do not know, our very own Miss Kelsie has published her very own Italian Cookbook...Not only is she one fine lady but she is one fine cook also. There is a very humble star amongst us. Spectacular recipes in it.

And she's currently working on her second. A few of us have them and they're wonderful and so easy to follow.

NWV-I make HUGE fruits bowls every week with strawberrie, peaches, raspberries, blackberries and tons of blueberries. O sprinkle each layer with a little ground black pepper, Tablespoon brown sugar-ten pour about 1/4 c balsamic vinegar over and toss. I must go thru 2 qts of blueberries myself.
