Nope, not me. It's only 2PM here in Oz. Now that I've finished cleaning my house, I've sat down to spend some time on C-D, and mostly everybody's gone nightie nights. It's such a drag being on the other side of the planet for C-D.

Anyhooo, for any night owls here, tonight we're doing it easy. Bought some really nice fresh Turkish bread rolls. Got some leftover chicken breast that I'd panfried earlier in the week. So it'll be something like ... chicken, baby spinach, sundried tomatoes and brie, toasted in the sandwich press for that nice crispy crust. And the brie will melt and ooze through the sandwich ... mmmm, can taste it already

Hey HawaiiLover, sure is. Quiet, that is. Always that way around this time. Don't fret about not being able to sleep. I find stressing about it makes you less able to fall asleep. Hope you manage to find the Sandman soon. And that you can sleep in!

Hey...I was looking for the KFC coleslaw recipe that has been shown on here before. Can anyone remember where its at? Thanks!

I found it! Whew! lol...

We are having hamburgers/hot dogs on the grill to keep the heat out of the kitchen, baked beans, and coleslaw.

I havent a clue where we posted it but it is all over the web.....if you google.....I guess the secret ingredient is "tarragon vinegar". Here's one, but maybe someone can find the one that was posted here. Authentic Kfc Coleslaw: the Real Thing - 67284 - Recipezaar I did make it and it was good.....but I like variety in cole slaws....so I keep experimenting.....sometimes I like sweet and mellow.....other times I like vinegary and lots of onion.

Thank you elston! This one sounds good too. I think I may try it.
Hmmm...I`m assuming that I can find the tarragon vinegar with the regular vinegars, right?

Good morning all and Happy Friday.

Hubby and I have a repeat of last Friday just a little different. Wish us luck.

Tonight I am thinking omelets and home fries.

See you all later. Gotta go.

I think so.....I believe Progresso markets a tarragon vinegar and it is in a cruet shaped bottle.....good luck. Yesterday I was looking for fresh tarragon and they didnt have it......I used to have a beautiful plant of french tarragon in my garden wth the most wonderful light anise like aroma.....sweet and woodsy.
