I thought if a sat here and thought I may come up with and idea. But at the moment all my favorites sound disgusting. Tonight may be a good night to live off what's stored on me.

Just wandering around getting ideas for next week. Summer has been so busy that I've not been cooking. I hope everyone is well though!

Ah Nomad, sure hope you feel more like eating a bit later.
Keep looking Mookster--I'm sure something will look good!
I am beat....went to some yard sales and then came home and have been going through a ton of boxes in our garage--things we brought from CA over 2 years ago--yikes!! It's a never ending job!
Looks like hot dogs are still on the menu for tonight. We'll have some of my DH's beans for a side with tomatoes and melon to finish it all off!
Have a great Saturday all!

I started my made-up chili! Now it has to simmer for 2 hours, then I will add the beans! Then another hour of cooking, and we will see how version 1.0 turns out!

Afternoon all, today is a busy day. I went to farmer's market today and totally went overboard, LOL. My eyes are definately bigger than my refridgerator. Soooo right now I am making loaf upon loaf of zuchinni bread. Will Soon begin blanching asparagus to go in the freezer. My house smells heavenly.

Tonight for dinner will be leftover teryaki chicken and I am going to make a brocolli/cauliflower cheese casserole to use up some more over boughten veggies.

Hope everyone is having a great day!

Doin a repeat of last nights rice, sprouts and kielbasa. Would rather have shepherds pie with lamb, though!

I have still never tried this--shepards pie--but have heard so many good things about it. I suppose my time is coming soon. Would you mind sharing your recipe??

Cyn, there was a whole thread devoted to Shepherd's Pie five or six months ago, right here:Shepherds Pie. There are a lot of different variations listed there that you could pick and choose from.

The thing about Shepherd's Pie is that pretty much every cook makes it differently, and some cooks make it differently each time they prepare it. I know that's true for us, because we're generally using up leftovers, so it pretty much depends on what we've got in the fridge. But it's always good.
