I wonder if eating starches would help absorb some of it. I know it comes out when you sweat...

Have him go on a fruit fast for a few days to a week that requires drinking and eating nothing but plentiful amounts of varied fruits and pure-made fruit juices daily...along with mixed green salads with olive oil...and LOTS of water with fresh squeezed lemon/lime juice in it for extra digestive properties.

Also have him take a capsule of powdered dandelion leaves. One capsule daily. You can get it from a GNC store. Dandelion helps to regulate and further flush out excess fluids in the body.

If you can't get that, get some yerba mate and have him drink a couple of cups of that daily with all of his fruits and salads. The salads should be fresh, clean and again with olive oil, pepper and sea salt. Mixed green salad packs have a very good flavor as a salad on its own. Adding dry-roasted almonds with no extra flavor would be good for a bit of protein if he feels he needs some during this fast.

His system should be cleaned out from the garlic smells in his waste materials and excretions (sweat, breath, saliva, urine and so forth) after doing this and he should feel wholly energized and "clean".
