Hi, all. Not sure what's for supper yet, but it'll have to be something quick as we're going to a Cooperative Ext. class on Native Plants this evening. Too bad, because it would be nice to cook a good meal since our counter tops are being installed today. I'll let you know later.

I'm thinking of making a soup of some kind for dinner tonight, possibly shrimp bisque. If that doesn't happen we do have leftovers from yesterday's casserole.

Hope everyone has a great day.

Last night I had leftovers. Tonight we're having crock pot baby back ribs with ? probably baked beans and cole slaw. Instead of having bread, I'm going to bake Jaxson's DD's recipe for Pecan Pie Muffins for dessert.

OMG I GOT SO WORRIED!!!!!!! I couldnt find CYN'S TABLE!!!!!!!!! I got so flustered! I get off CD for a bit and I find myself losing my way after one long weekend of partying! So glad to find it!!!! So confused.... PHEW... you all know me... a bit scatterbrained at times!!!!! LOL..... I thought I got locked away from the dinner table... almost had a heart attack! What would I do without my fix? Thank Goodness I found a backdoor.... what would we do without Cyn's table to keep us going? I have so much to talk about!

Sunday We went to the 50th Anniversary like I had mentioned.... It was very lovely and sweet to watch my aunt and uncle... and they were even clinking the glasses to get them to smooch! How sweet is that? They never had a real wedding reception so this was their kids way of giving it to them. A great buffet of Ziti, beans and greens, A creamy veggie pasta dish, great potatoes I wish I could reproduce, jello, salad, chicken french, prime rib.... YUM... and two cakes to finish things off.... YUM YUM!!!!

Then yesterday my OTHER great aunt from GA was in town and she made a HUGE pot of chicken and dumplings for about 30 of us who all sat in my grandma's to chit chat and laugh for the afternoon.... the big finale was the DESSERT as you all have probalby learned by now is the case for my family.... brownies, three cakes, crumb cakes, cookies.... I think there was even more.... I had to zip out a bit earlier than I would have like though.

Today I would love to head back to my grandmothers and see the fam again. It is the last day they will be there.... but I am heading to TN this week and I MUST pack!!!! Soooooo I am torn... be responsible or just go have fun? ahhhh it is a tough one.....

if I am responsible I will probalby have pasta tonight because I will want to make my life easy.... Ya know? A salad... I HAVE to clean out my fridge... OMG I JUST realized this..... I have a TON of groceries in there... they are gonna go bad... what did I do? I wasn't thinking last week!!!! I should stay home just to have everyone EAT!!!!!!!!! Oh.... man..... ok... I will report back later....
