Hi all,

Does anyone have a reccomendation for a good Teriyaki sauce that isn't so salty? I'm planning to make one of my favorite dishes, Teriyaki salmon, so I still want something with a lot of flavor. Any suggestions? By the way, I'm not on a low sodium diet or anything, my bf just can't stand for his food to taste too salty. Thanks in advance.

Seal Sama brand has a lower sodium teriyaki sauce/marinade that is pretty thick and good for grilling. It's kind of pricey though.

Kikkoman has a lower sodium sauce but it's the thin type.

Another option could be to add water to the sauce. You might also consider making a brown sugar glaze, it's sweet and tastes great with salmon and doesn't need salt at all
