Do you/would you eat an apple if..........
It has browned due to it hitting the air?
I get clowned on by my workmates because I core my apples in the AM and bring them to work to snack on. Sometimes that doesn't happen until the afternoon, and by then they've browned. I polled everyone in my group, and all said 'no' except for one who was on the fence about it.
It's just a chemical reaction to the acid- they taste just as good as if you bit into the thing! People are so picky and funny about their food it kills me!
Do you eat brapples?

There's nothing wrong with browned apples, especially if they were cut the same day. If you want to prevent that put lemon or lime or any citrus juice on them, stops browning.

Of course I eat them if I was the one who cut them up. If it's something that's been prepared for me I would rather not because I don't know how long they were sitting out or if they were covered up or what. But lemon juice tastes great and prevents the problem.

I was going to say to- try putting some lemon juice on them to deter the browning!

Ya, I'd eat them in the circumstances you describe. I also find that cutting it up, putting it back together, wrapping a napkin around it (so it keeps light out), and sticking it in a baggie will keep it from browning at least for several hours. I do prefer them not to be brown.

I'd prefer them not to be brown but if they were still cold, I probably would, I'm not going to waste it. But I'd probably just avoid it by putting some lemon juice on them.

My mom used to cut up apples and put them in my lunch so they would be brown by the time I got them. Never bothered me! Sometimes, she would put cinnamon on the apples so you couldn't even tell that they were brown...

Browned fruit is gross. Wouldn't touch it with a 1000ft pole.

It's just a reaction to air. Doesn't mean it's "spoiled."
