I like a European roast.....Italian preferably, French will do, black, hot and frequent. I drink perhaps a pot to a pot and a half a day (I know, that seems overboard, but it works for me)
Evenings a hot cup of rich dark coffee laced with Kaluha, Irish Cream, or brandy is idea with a light dessert like tira misu (no, I am not gay) or a sorbet..
Camping, I like a strong "cowboy" coffee......about half a cup of grounds mixed with a couple of eggs, (shells and all) dumped into boiling water and boiled till it will float a horseshoe........serve it with bacon, eggs, and fried biscuits......cannot be beat to knock the frost off the pumpkin
PS, cannot stand Starbucks.....I had a custom roster offer to burn me some beans if I wanted........
World Markets has a Dark Italian Roast (beans or ground) that is sooooooo good.
I also like Gevalia's Peruvian Organic and their Mocca Java and their Kenya :-)
I don't much care about the brand, as long as fresh, or if mood wants a treat some beans to grind, but hot, fresh, strong and black...Now if a purchased coffee, I want a mocha latte, maybe some cinnamon, extra whipped cream and chocolate curls or cocoa powder on top...oh my...now a craving...
Strong, hot, fresh, with half & half and agave nectar.
Indulgences include iced caramel macchiatos...heck any coffee drink or foofoo coffee drink will do, but no black coffee here please!
I used to have a joke . I like my coffee like I like my men , hot strong and tan . LOL !!!
Mine was Light and Sweet
