Grilled always. In fact I am 35 years old and don't even know how to fry any type of food and never have tried. It would probably be a disaster!

Another favourite best when grilled, to me, anyways, is Linguiça [linguesa].
I've had it both ways but definitely favor it grilled.

Doctors tell us to cut back on the "fried" foods but when you go out to eat at restaurants, it seems the only thing you can get is fried this, or fried that. I suppose it depends on what kind of oil you're using for frying but restaurants aren't really known for using healthy oils.
colombian/south american restaurants usually grill their calamari if you have a hankering for it.

I never deep fry anything when cooking myself (though I will once in a great while order a fried appetizer when dining out, and love french fries - though I bake them at home).

I sautee a lot, grill a lot (both on a grill and in a grill pan), and bake a lot. There isn't much that I fry, more because of the mess/cleanup than the health issue. My favorite way to prepare chicken is neither grilled nor fried, but roasting a whole bird in the oven. On a Sunday, I'll often roast two whole chickens...one for Sunday dinner, the other to take off the bone and use throughout the week in recipes. Given that I can buy a whole roaster for $3, it's pretty economical.

I mostly grill these days. I love grilled salmon or trout. I like grilling my steaks too.

But if I'm back home in southeast Texas and my mom invites me to a seafood restuarant or a cajun restuarant, then I'll have fried catfish or something. Fried catfish is best in my books!!!

I don't have a grill--anything I make is fried. But I could order a grilled chicken instead of a fried chicken.

It really depends on what it is...

I am a firm believer in FRIED Buffalo wings. I voted grilled...but with many many caveats!

It really depends on what food it is, I eat more grilled foods so I chose grilled.

I generally prefer grilled to fried, but once in awhile I have to have some good fried chicken or catfish!
