Default Kid Favorites

I'm looking to add a section of Kid Favorites to my blog and board. There are so many new things available now that didn't exist when my girls were growing up. Can you help me out with things that your kids love? Both snacks and meals.

Thanks
Kathy

Aside from the various "junk" items all kids love, i.e. chocolate, candy, cheese puffs, doritos, hot dogs, etc., my 13 y.o. son loves:

Macaroni and cheese
Chicken Parmigiana over spaghetti
Pizza
Cheese manicotti
Barbequed beef
Crab rangoon
Shrimp wraps from Trader Joe's
Hot and sour soup
Hungarian goulash
Gingered corn soup
Any kind of rice-a-roni

I could probably type a list a mile long, but that should be a good start!

My kids' favorites are homemade chicken pie and for snack, hummus on tortilla, cut up into tiny pieces (we call it "hummus bites").

I don't think there is really much available which wasn't available 50 years ago, unless you are counting junk food, which we don't eat and which I don't think kids in general should be eating...I do think though that there is more access to foods of other ethnic backgrounds than our own than there once was (like hummus...I don't think that was in my local supermarket growing up)
