I used to drink diet Dr. Pepper quite often, but I now have one or two Mountain Dews a day due to the fact that it is very cloudy all the time where I live- particularly winter. I need the caffeine and doubt I can stop right now.

I try to limit myself to two Diet Dr Peppers a day, anything more than that and I feel dehydrated.

I avoid all soft drinks - diet or otherwise - because they are all bad for your health.

I drink now mainly flavored water and still drink diet pop sometimes. My diabetes doesn't let me drink anything with sugar anymore.

News, Woman Drinks 12 Diet Cokes a Day.

Although many Americans can't start their day without a cup of coffee or tea, die-hard fans of diet sodas claim there's no substitute.

Elton John, Victoria Beckham and even former president Bill Clinton admit to being hooked on Diet Coke, and they're not alone.

For many, diet sodas fulfill a craving for sweets while giving drinkers a jolt of caffeine with few or zero calories.

Amanda Sanchez, a 29-year-old working mother of two, is a self-professed Diet Coke junkie.

"It's my water. It keeps me going. It's the fluid that keeps me alive," Sanchez said. "I really think I am addicted. I really think it would be very hard for me to stop."

Woman Drinks 12 Diet Cokes a Day - ABC News
All that diet coke will not be so good for her in the long run, since coke products are usually very acidic due to all the carbonation.

I normally drink juice, milk, soy milk, water, vitamin water, Fruit 2 O water (really just fruit-flavored carbonated beverages). Sometimes, I get a sweet tooth craving and buy a 12-oz. cup of soda. I often like to fill the cup with each flavor of soda at the soda station; in other words, I may press the ice button and then press all the soda buttons, so I can get a soda mix.

Have consumed diet cola in my life, but not regularly-and never nowadays.
Much prefer the usual version (with sugar & whatever else) of cola/soda/drink.
Though I hardly ever even drink soda anymore.
Dislike fake sugar, for both chemical/biological reasons as well as subjective taste/flavor perception reasons.

I'm very ashamed to say that I used to be a Diet Coke addict. It destroyed my teeth, and I now avoid it like the plague. I still do have an occasional soda, but only regular and only with a straw.

Did something bad happen? One diet drink isn't going to kill you.

I don't drink sodas on a regular basis. On the rare occasions that I do drink soda, I never drink diet soda.
