$5.00 Dollar deal or not? Arbys
OK I have to admit I am always putting a value on everything I spend money on and establishing in my mind if the value was there. More often than not the answer is no, for what I got and what it cost me just doesn't add up.
Had a very pleasant surprise today as I purchased a $5.01 combo today at Arbys and found myself very happy with the value.
Whats your take?

Uhhhh!! Let's see!! They accidentally spilled more meat in your burger than normal. Normally they dab a tiny puddle of meat in the very center of the bun. Leaving you with a lot of bread to eat before hitting meat. I love their curly fries and their burgers. But, seriously they should be sued out of their business for false advertising. They show large burgers with meat stacked an inch high. The meat is squishing out all around the burger. In reality they slap these puppies together in a heartbeat. You get home open it up and the silver dollar sized dab of meat is dead center in the bun. All you can do is grunt and swear you'll never buy another Arby's burger! I think you were just having a happy day and Arby's played no part.

You got a sandwich, fries, drink, dessert, and a Happy Holidays gift (calendar, key chain, refridgerator magnet...)
All without much attitude or drama from your server?

satx56, my son works at Arby's and they don't sell burgers there. Are you sure you haven't confused them with someplace else?

Burger.. Smurger. We call them burgers down here!! No confusion here!! I think mostly if it's hot it's a burger , cold it's a sandwich way of thinking.
Looking at their add now... they call them roast beef sandwiches!! They are in burger buns!! Except the $5.01 deal which looks like a hoagie bun. Man they look good in the ads!!! If only they looked that way when you buy them!

I have always found Arby's to be very generous with the roast beef on their sandwiches.
