That would be funny...kinda quirky!!

My grandson would never forgive me for eating Rudolph !!

I learned to make Emeril's Venison Stew recently..really good!!

A pork roast with onions, potatoes, and carrots would be pretty good. I don't know what vegetables are considered "winter" vegetables, other than bell peppers, but whatever's in season might be something to cook up.

You said you wanted something easier ... how about a nice big lasagna? You can make it the night before and then just pop it in the oven on Christmas Day. Make a salad and some garlic bread while it cools.

We're having ham.
