I threw a pork roast in the over in a covered roasting pan, with carrots, potatoes, poblano peppers, onions, garlic, plenty of fresh ground black pepper. I didn't have any applesauce, but I found some homemade peach preserves in the back of the fridge. Took about 70 minutes, including cutting up the veggies. Nice and quick.
